It’s been more than 25 years since Grover Arnett settled into Salyersville, Kentucky and established not only his home, but his lifelong law practice. Building the Grover Arnett Law Firm since 1991 -- only two years after he began his journey within the field of law -- Arnett has been committed to the practice his entire adult life. Barely moments after graduating from North Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law with his Juris Doctorate in 1989, he dove into his new work as an attorney and then established this now-esteemed practice. Arnett’s 25 years of tenure have, however, included much more than his private practice -- a practice dedicated to personal injury and helping those across the state of Kentucky with workers’ compensation issues and more. Arnett served approximately five years in the renowned elected role of Magoffin County Attorney. In this position from 1994 to 1999, Arnett achieved successes such as a 95 percent conviction rate among DUI offenses and achieving the largest drug conviction in the county’s history. Additionally, Grover Arnett, a scholarship recipient at one time, gave back to his community by writing fundraising materials for up-and-coming scholarship fundraisers and their recipients. He aided throughout his community in multiple endeavors, also serving as founder and chair of the William O. and Easter Arnett Memorial Foundation, an organization that provides necessary funding to a deserving college student.
